On McKinney Music, “the best independent music magazine in the UK“, Nub TV, which is currently streaming on Tubi, is like Wayne’s World meets the X Files. The show is a crazy mix of UFOs, paranormal activity, and the best new music.
It’s Wayne’s World meets The X Files! Special guests appear in every episode, like former head of UFO investigations for the UK government Nick Pope, Ancient Aliens’ Seth Shostak, and spoon-bending psychic Uri Geller, who discusses John Lennon’s UFO experiences. Jeremy Corbell is one of the other guests, and he discusses Bob Lazar, a former employee of Area 51 who asserts to have reverse engineered flying saucers. Mark Christopher Lee, frontman of the indie band The Pocket Gods, and Guy Thompson, lead singer of The Boy From Space, will host the event.
They use a ouija board to try to get in touch with the Queen of England, who recently passed away, and they even meet real men in black, who eventually manage to shut down the show and take them off the air! Kick Pistol, Determinated, The Low Countries, bicycle, and Kill The Giants are among the best recent indie acts from the US and UK featured on the show.
A Blend Of The Supernatural And Music
The Montauk Project, which is said to have been the inspiration for the popular Netflix show Stranger Things, and Crop Circles’ alleged demise are also discussed on the show. It’s wonderful, weird, and a little haphazard, like a show from MTV in the 1990s. It goes up to eleven!
The I newspaper reported that Nub TV is a peculiar blend of the paranormal and music, expanding the realm of the supernatural.
The first two seasons of the show were well-received and are now available online on the Tubi network in the United States and Canada.
In April 2023, Nub TV will also launch the first 24/7 paranormal online channel available on Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku, and Xbox!
