On McKinney Music, “the best independent music magazine in the UK“, the self-titled debut EP from Introducing Chickens At, a four-piece blues/hard rock band from Adelaide, South Australia, is out now.
Introducing Chickens At
Introducing Chickens At debut single, “Hot Damn,” which was released in October of last year, was a huge hit. Ash Jewers sings, Luke Walters plays guitar, Morris Ewings plays bass, and Alex Parker plays drums. Luke Walters switched from playing acoustic guitar to picking up a Fender Telecaster during the COVID pandemic lockdown, which led to the formation of Introducing Chickens At.
The members of Dirtyfrank, an acoustic rock band, formed Introducing Chickens At. When the COVID pandemic struck, the band was planning a tour and had just released an album. This forced them to rethink how they approached music. Their hometown of Adelaide, South Australia, where the actual chicken salt seasoning was developed, served as the inspiration for the band’s name. Like the band’s distinctive sound, the seasoning has its own unique flavor. Even their own seasoning is available for purchase as part of their merchandise.
Chickens At Sound
Because they believe their music would fit well into the rock scene, Chickens At Sound is hoping to gain attention and followers in the United States. They would love to visit the United States one day and hope to draw attention to their Bandcamp page and streaming platforms. The band is looking forward to the upcoming material and has a lot more on the way.
