On McKinney Music, “the best independent music magazine in the UK“, 4HEES’ new album is an unforgettable journey through the realm of death trap and horrorcore, showcasing his artistic brilliance and distinctive production.
The most recent album from 4HEES, “Killing Spree,” is a dream come true for fans of dark core music because it is a glorious amalgamation of all the darkest genres. This album combines nu-metal, horrorcore, gangster rap, deathcore, and dark trap with a nihilistic and genre-bending approach.
4HEES is an artist and music producer from Chicago, Illinois who now calls New York City home. A garage band introduced him to music at a young age, and in high school, he began learning basic music theory before picking up the guitar and bass. 4HEES began using FL Studio 6 six years ago to concentrate on his music and publish his work during the 2020 pandemic. His music now serves as an artistic outlet for the difficulties and trauma he has experienced as a result of his tragic upbringing and difficult childhood.
4HEES now aspires to be recognized for his capacity to create art from the deepest pits a man can sink to and turn it into something enjoyable and creative after growing up listening to and being inspired by hip-hop and metal artists like Eminem, Wu-Tang Clan, Bullet for My Valentine, and Infant Annihilator. His most recent album is a prime example of how he describes his mission and purpose to produce the most grotesque yet enjoyable songs.
“Killing Spree,” a release that has the potential to set a new standard, offers listeners a one-of-a-kind opportunity to push the boundaries of violence in hip-hop through the use of abstract lyricism and storytelling.
This brilliant incorporation of multiple genres into a single album is entirely self-produced and recorded by 4HEES himself. It was inspired by artists like BONES, Hollywood Undead, and Pop Smoke. “Killing Spree,” which 4HEES has curated especially for those who enjoy loud music that fills the body with an angry, psychotic, and neurotic energy, was released on December 25.
Each track is more violent and energizing than the previous one while still managing to remain catchy and upbeat thanks to the catchy chorus of “Dealer,” the defiant flow of “Terror,” and the nihilistic lyrics of “Vile.”
“It is the embodiment of the spirit of an 80’s slasher film villain mixed with modern-day drug dealer – you’ll feel like you’re going crazy listening to it!” said 4HEES of Killing Spree.
